Most Viewed Articles of 2023

Posted on December 26, 2023December 23, 2023 by James Williams

Everyone loves a good list, especially at the end of the year. Grateful for another year of being able to blog and I hope and pray the articles are helpful and encouraging for your continual growth in the grace of our Lord!

Here are the ten most viewed articles of 2023:

10. What Does It Mean to Glorify God?

Christians often talk about “glorifying God,” but what does it really mean? How do I eat and drink to the glory of God?

9. Resources for Mananging Your Child’s Screen Time

Technology is advancing faster than parents can keep up. Every new gadget promises new opportunities, but also provides dangers and temptations. Here is a list of resources to help you navigate such difficult questions, provide accountability, and protect your children.

8. Should We Pursue Unity At All Costs?

Obviously, there is a lot at stake when it comes to believers being unified. Unity, therefore, is vitally important. But, is it ultimate?

Are there priorities that we should place even above unity? Should our pursuit of unity be at all costs, or is there something else we should pursue even at the expense of a supposed unity?

7. When You Can’t See God Working

Do you wonder if God is at work in your life? You feel like you’re going through the motions, yet God’s hand seems to have vanished.

6. The New Birth: 7 Evidences of Regeneration

A newborn shows signs of life by crying, moving, eating, etc. But, what are the signs of a person who has been born again?

5. Who Were the Calvinistic Methodist?

What is a Calvinistic Methodist? Isn’t that a contradiction of terms?

4. Joy and Enjoyment

Christians recognize that our joy is in another world. However, that doesn’t mean we can’t experience and enjoy good things in this world. The presence of good things in this life testifies to the reality of a God who exists and is himself the supreme source of joy. We worship God as we delight in the good blessings he gives and as we allow them to direct our affections to Him.

3. 7 Evidences of a Spirit-Led Life

Scripture teaches that every true believer has the Spirit of God, but it is possible to walk after the flesh instead of walking after the Spirit. So, how can we know if we are being led by the Spirit? Here are 7 evidences of someone who is led by the Spirit…

2. Thinking and Emotions in the Christian Life

How do we understand the relationship between truth and emotions? What are we to make of church services that simply seek to move our emotions just to have an emotional experience? What about the churches that strain the gnat regarding truth but seem to lack any true emotion?

1. I’ll See You in Heaven

With tears welling in my eyes, I told her goodbye and that I loved her. I knew it was my last goodbye, but I didn’t know if she thought that so I didn’t say it out loud. However, her next phrase made it clear she understood. She told me, “If I don’t see you again in this life, I’ll see you in heaven.”

Thank you, dear reader, for a great 2023! I look forward to seeing what the Lord has in store for 2024…God bless!
